Start from a mood or a passion, not a Christmas cliché
Christmas often pushes people toward the same default gifts (socks, perfume gift sets, chocolates), quickly forgotten by January. A poster lasts longer if it reflects a real passion of the person or a mood they truly love, rather than a seasonal subject chosen only because it’s Christmas.
For the cozy mood of the season
If the person loves warm moments during winter, the hot chocolate poster, with its steaming cup, suits this mood without depicting Christmas literally. The kitchen posters bring together other variations in the same indulgent, comforting spirit.
If they already love the vintage Christmas spirit
The catalog has only 3 posters that truly depict Christmas, each in a different style: the Merry Nights poster, Santa Claus in a forest of snowy fir trees, and the Santa Claus and sleigh poster, more festive, and the Strasbourg Christmas market poster, with its big illuminated tree on Place Kléber. A relevant choice only if the person already enjoys this kind of seasonal decor displayed all year round, not a universal subject.
Choosing between 2 posters
The same questions as for other gift occasions apply: what specific link connects this subject to the person, where could they hang it, do the colors and lettering suit them? The guide “Which poster to give?” details the method occasion by occasion.

Frequently asked questions
You often ask us
Does a poster have to depict Christmas to make a good Christmas gift?
No: the subject that works is one that matches a real passion or a mood the person loves (cozy evenings, hot chocolate), not necessarily a Christmas scene. A city, landscape or passion poster is just as suitable.
What budget should you plan for a poster as a Christmas gift?
The budget depends on the design, the size and any frame bought separately. Compare the prices shown in each poster’s selector before choosing the size.
