Aix-en-Provence Rotonde fountain poster

Aix-en-Provence poster, the Rotonde fountain

At the center of this Aix-en-Provence poster, the Rotonde fountain stacks its basins and sculptures, and its jets of water sparkle in the sun. All around, the plane trees of the square and the elegant façades form a classic Southern town setting. Pale stone dominates, lifted by the green of the foliage and a soft, warm Provençal light. The horizontal format lets the square breathe and gives the monument a sense of grandeur. The title “AIX-EN-PROVENCE” is in the spirit of illustrated travel posters.

A memento of Aix for the living room or as a gift

With its landscape orientation, it naturally fits above a sofa, a sideboard or an entryway console. Its stone and green tones pair well with light wood, terracotta, linen and Provençal ceramics. It can join other posters of Provence or Southern towns on the same wall. It makes a lovely gift for someone from Aix who lives elsewhere, a former student who spent time in Aix or a friend who loves Provence, for a farewell, a birthday or a housewarming.
