about this poster

Botanical plate poster “SEED STUDY”, leaves, stems and seeds

Like a page torn from a naturalist’s notebook, this botanical poster carefully arranges leaves, stems and seeds on a cream background. A tall plant with a reddish-brown stem stands at the center in front of a flat green block, surrounded by leafy sprigs in greens from soft to deep and by brown seeds scattered across the cream background, for a very orderly vertical composition. The title “SEED STUDY” sets the spirit of the plate: a close look at what makes a plant grow, from seed to leaf. The tones stay soft and the layout lets each specimen breathe, for a calm, polished image.

A seed study for the kitchen or office

Its soft greens on a cream background suit a wooden kitchen, an office, a bedroom or a hallway. The vertical format slips between 2 windows or lines up with 2 or 3 other botanical plates to create a herbarium wall. It pairs well with light oak, natural linen, terracotta pots and shelves full of books. Give it to a gardener who starts their own seedlings, a biology student or a friend who loves natural, orderly interiors.

Your questions

What does “SEED STUDY” mean on this poster?

It’s English, so the title says exactly what the plate shows: leaves, stems and seeds drawn separately, in the manner of a naturalist’s observation notebook.

Which other posters go well with this plate?

It makes a lovely series with other botanical plates in green and cream tones. Hung side by side or in a grid, they form a cohesive herbarium wall in an office, kitchen or hallway.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
