about this poster

Madeleines and tea cup poster, snack time

A plate of golden shell-shaped madeleines waits beside a porcelain tea cup on a garden table. A teapot and a sprig of lilac complete the scene, bathed in soft afternoon light. This madeleines and tea poster evokes a quiet, unhurried snack in a springtime garden. The palette blends the golds of the cakes, the mauves of the lilac and the delicate shades of the porcelain. The “TEA TIME” lettering accompanies the composition.

A gentle poster for the kitchen or a tea room

Its mauve and golden tones suit a kitchen, a dining room, a reading nook or a bedroom in soft colors. It pairs well with floral tableware, painted wood, lace and wrought-iron garden furniture. It combines nicely with other pastry or flower posters. It makes a thoughtful gift for a tea lover, a grandmother who bakes madeleines on Sundays, a host who often entertains, or for Mother’s Day.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
