about this poster

Rio de Janeiro poster, Botafogo beach and Sugarloaf Mountain

Hand in hand, a couple walks on the sand of Botafogo beach in Rio de Janeiro at dusk. Facing them, Sugarloaf Mountain towers over the bay where boats lie at anchor. To the side, Corcovado rises with the statue of Christ the Redeemer at its summit. The title “RIO DE JANEIRO” accompanies the scene. This Rio poster brings together the city’s 2 most famous landmarks in a soft, romantic evening light.

A Brazil poster for a couple or a bedroom

Its twilight glow brings softness to a bedroom, a living room or an entryway. Horizontal, it sits nicely above a headboard or a console. It pairs well with rattan, tropical plants, linen and sand or coral tones, and can join other posters of seaside cities. It makes a thoughtful gift for a couple, for a honeymoon in Brazil, for an anniversary of when you met, or for a Carioca living far from their bay.

Your questions

Which Rio landmarks appear on the poster?

You can see Botafogo beach in the foreground, Sugarloaf Mountain rising over the bay and, to the side, Corcovado with the statue of Christ the Redeemer. A couple walks on the sand at dusk.

Who should I give this Rio de Janeiro poster to?

With its couple hand in hand, it makes a lovely gift for sweethearts, for an anniversary or for a honeymoon in Brazil. It will also appeal to Brazilians and to travelers who have come back from Rio.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
