about this poster

Misty mountain forest waterfall poster

A tall waterfall tumbles down a cliff into a pool, deep in a mountain forest wrapped in mist. Fir trees line both banks, and in the background, pale peaks fade into the fog. This waterfall poster, in portrait format, follows the cascade from top to bottom and leaves plenty of room for air and silence. The deep greens of the forest and the vaporous whites create a calm, almost mysterious atmosphere. The title “MIST ON THE PEAKS” accompanies the scene.

A soothing forest for a bedroom or home office

Its deep greens and misty whites soothe a bedroom, home office, bathroom or reading nook. It pairs well with raw wood, wool, stone, green plants and walls painted sage green or gray. Its portrait format fits nicely on a narrow stretch of wall. Combined with other forest or mountain posters, it creates a nature-inspired mood. A great gift for a hiker, a landscape photographer or anyone looking for a restful image.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
