about this poster

San Francisco poster, the cable car on a steep street

A red cable car climbs a steep street, its passengers seated on board. On either side, houses with bay windows line the hill, while the blue bay stretches out below. The title “SAN FRANCISCO” accompanies this iconic scene. This San Francisco cable car poster plays on bright colors and clear California light. The sharp incline of the street gives the image real energy.

A California poster for the living room or entryway

Its bright colors and clear light liven up a living room, an entryway, an office or a bedroom. Its landscape format emphasizes the slope of the street and fits easily above a desk or a sofa. It pairs with wood, metal, touches of red or blue and other posters of American cities. It’s a gift for a traveler back from California, a fan of streetcars and urban transit or a friend who has lived in San Francisco.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
